Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast Casserole
Ingredients:
1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuits
1 pound pork sausage
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
6 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 (2.75 oz) packet country gravy mix
2 cups water
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Cut biscuits into quarters and spread them evenly in the baking dish.
In a skillet, brown the sausage over medium heat, breaking it into small pieces. Drain and sprinkle over biscuits.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over the sausage.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs and milk, season with salt and pepper. Pour over the biscuit layers.
In another bowl, prepare gravy mix with water as per package instructions. Pour the gravy evenly over the casserole.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and biscuits are golden brown.
