1 (15 oz) can jalapeno blackeyed peas or 1 can blackeyed peas & 1 T chopped jalapeno
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup sour cream
2 T picante sauce
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Spicy & quick. Serve with tortilla chips.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Drain peas & discard juice.
Mash peas with a fork, but leave some chunks. (Do NOT use a blender.)
Add all remaining ingredients & mix well.
Spread in a baking dish & bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes, or until the dip bubbles.
