1 medium head cabbage cut in chunks
1 pound sausage or ground beef browned & drained
1 med onion chopped
1/2 cup raw rice
14 ounce can tomato sauce
1 cup water
salt and pepper to taste
In large lightly greased baking dish layer in this order: uncooked rice, 1/2 head cabbage, ground beef, seasonings, onion, 1/2 of cabbage, tomato sauce, water. Cover & bake at 350 degrees, for approx 1 hour, or until cabbage is tender.
