Chicken Spaghetti Casserole

½ cup plus 2 tbsp butter

½ cup flour

2 cups half & half

1 cup chicken broth

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

½ cup sherry or dry white wine

16 ounces pkg spaghetti broken in thirds & cooked in chicken broth

1 small can mushrooms or sautéed mushrooms

3 cups cut up cooked chicken cubed

1 cup grated Parmesan


Place cooked chicken & cooked pasta in buttered 9x13 pan.

Meanwhile, melt butter on stove, blend in flour, add broth and half & half.
Stir in sherry and seasonings & cook until thickened. Pour over pasta and chicken, stirring to mix.
Stir in parmesan. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes our until warmed through.
