Dill Baked Beef Brisket

beef brisket well-trimmed

garlic powder

freshly ground black pepper


dill weed fresh or dried

2 bay leaves finely crushed

2 large onions chopped

1 cup dry red wine


Season brisket well with garlic & pepper. Sprinkle liberally with flour and place on large sheet of heavy foil inside roaster pan. Sprinkle with remaining ingredients and pour on wine. Seal foil and cover roaster.
Bake 6-8 hours at 250 degrees.

Remove as much fat as possible while still warm.
Cool & refrigerate. Slice with electric knife when cold.
