Dirty Jalapeno Dip


Cream cheese softened

Salad olives (Spanish olives with pimento) drained

Pitted black olives drained

Other olives various types pitted & drained

Pickled jalapeno slices drained

extra virgin olive oil

red wine vinegar

salt and pepper optional


Remove seeds from jalapeno slices. Place in food processor with olives. Pulse a few times to roughly chop. Pour mixture into a mixing bowl and add oil and vinegar to taste. Cover and refrigerate overnight or longer. Taste and add salt and pepper if desired.

Spread cream cheese evenly in a shallow dish, such as a pie plate. Drain olive-pepper mixture and spread evenly over the cream cheese. Serve with thin crackers.
