Dorothy's BBQ Meatballs



3 lbs. ground beef (or beef & pork)

2 eggs beaten

1 large onion diced

1 (13 oz) can evaporated milk

2 cups oatmeal

2 teaspoons salt

1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

2 tablespoons chili powder


2 cups catsup

1 ½ cup brown sugar

1/2 cup onion diced

2 tablespoons liquid smoke flavoring

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tsp Tabasco

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce


Combine first 9 ingredients, and form into walnut-sized meatballs. Place in Pam-sprayed 9x13 baking dish. (May freeze meatballs at this point & put in ziplock bag after frozen.)

Combine sauce ingredients and simmer in saucepan over low heat for 10 minutes. (May freeze sauce at this point.)

When ready to bake, pour sauce over meatballs. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
