Herring in Sour Cream


2 12-oz jars herring in wine sauce drained

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

4 green onions chopped fine

1 tablespoon sugar

1 tablespoon celery seed


Cut herring into pieces. Combine all and refrigerate overnight. Serve with crackers.
