1 cup raw chicken livers chopped

1/2 large onion chopped

1/2 medium green bell pepper chopped

1 cup regular raw rice

14 ouncecan chicken broth or bouillon cube with water

1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves crushed

1 teaspoon salt

black pepper to taste


Saute chicken livers, onion and bell pepper in a little butter. Add remaining ingredients, stir and cover. Simmer 30 minutes or until rice is done and liquid is absorbed.
Variation: Add chopped ham
