2 cups sugar
2 oz jar instant coffee
2 cups boiling water
1 pint cheap brandy
1 vanilla bean, halved
Combine sugar and coffee and add boiling water. Mix well. Cool to room temperature. Add sliced vanilla bean and brandy. Mix, cover and set aside for 30 days. Strain bean and bottle.
