Marinated Feta


lg block feta cheese cut into cubes


fresh herbs (oregano, thyme or rosemary)

1 bay leaf

sliced garlic


lemon zest

dried chiles optional


Marinated feta is such a legit appetizer option because it is a very basic, simple process that yields an extremely above-average, impressive result.

Use any size mason jar or other glass jar that will seal.


Place the cubes or broken up blocks of feta and aromatic components in layers so that the flavors are evenly dispersed throughout.

When jar is full pour on EVOO to the top.
Seal the jar & let it sit in the fridge at least overnight, or up to one week.

Serve with crusty bread or crackers or toasts.

Crumble over sliced fresh tomatoes.
Spoon over a green salad.
Generously sprinkle over a pan of roasted veggies.

Save the oil for salad dressings, pasta or bread — or toss in more feta & seasonings and start all over again.
