Mulled Raspberry Cider


8 cups apple cider or juice

4 cups cranraspberry juice drink

12 ounces pkg frozen red raspberries loose packed

1/4 cup brown sugar firmly packed

6 inches stick cinnamon

3 inches fresh ginger root cut in 3 pieces

2 tsps whole cloves

1 teaspoon whole allspice


Tie spices in cheesecloth bag, and combine with all other ingredients in 4-5 quart crockpot. Heat on high to boiling, then lower temperature and serve.
Garnish each mug with an apple wedge if desired.
