1 cup Crisco
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda water
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups quick oats
1 cups -2 coconut
Cream Crisco and sugars. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Mix well. combine flour soda & baking powder and stir well. Add oatmeal and coconut. Mix well.
Form dough into large, golf-ball sized balls. Place on a sprayed cookie sheet and mash flat with the bottom of a jar or glass dipped in milk.
Bake at 375 for 12-14 minutes.
