Skiers' Sausage & Apples


1 lb link sausage or little smokies

6 med baking apples peeled and sliced

2 tbsps fresh lemon juice

3 tbsps brown sugar

salt and pepper to taste


Cut each sausage link in half lengthwise. Brown and drain thoroughly. Slice apples into lemon juice and toss. Add browned sausages, salt and pepper and brown sugar. Pour into Pam-sprayed 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
