Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

1 cup Crisco

2 eggs

1 1/2 cups sugar

2 3/4 cups flour

2 teaspoons cream of tartar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons sugar

2 teaspoons cinnamon

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Blend shortening, eggs and sugar. Sift & stir in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
Roll in small balls. Combine remaining sugar and cinnamon, and roll dough to cover.
Bake for 8 minutes, and cool on wire rack.
