1 lb ground beef or turkey, cooked in microwave
2 lg carrots sliced
2 stalks celery, sliced
1 very large onion, diced
2 (16-oz) cans tomatoes, chopped
1 cup barley
2 bouillon cubes
6 cups water
Combine all and simmer 1 hour, until barley is fully cooked, or in crockpot all day on low.
Notes: A hearty way to warm up on a wintry day!
