Sour Cream Tacos


16 ozs sour cream light

28 ozcan tomatoes

1 lb longhorn cheese grated

2 lg onions chopped

1 clove lg garlic minced

3 jalapeno peppers (or green chiles) seeded and chopped

1 lg bag Doritos or Tostitos slightly crushed


Saute onion, garlic & peppers in a little oil. Add all except chips and let sand 3-4 hours. Do not refrigerate. Layer in greased casserole: half the chips, half the sauce, remaining chips and remaining sauce.
Bake at 350 till bubbly and brown on top.


Notes: Good with beef from the grill
Serving Ideas: Add chicken layer in middle for main course casserole.
