1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
1/3 lb ham, thinly sliced
1/3 lb genoa salami, thinly sliced
1/3 lb cheese provolone or mozzarella thinly sliced
1 egg, beaten
Roll thawed dough into rectangle about the size of a cookie sheet. Sprinkle with lemon pepper, basil & oregano. Drizzle with a little olive oil. Cover dough with an even layer of each meat & cheese.
Roll up jelly roll style. Be sure ends and edges are sealed. (Wet with water to seal if necessary.) Place seam down on greased cookie sheet. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with lemon pepper.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes, or till brown & done on inside.
Notes: Good with a mug of soup or on a salad plate. Easy tailgate with a jug of gazpacho.
Serving Ideas: Serve warm or at room temperature. Freezes well.
