1 med onion very thinly sliced
1/2 cup chopped parsley
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons Za'atar Herb Blend (Penzey's)
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon Aleppo pepper or crushed red pepper
3/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
1 can cresent or pizza dough, or 1 box puff pastry
Preheat oven to temp required on dough can or box.
Combine all ingredients except feta & dough in a bowl, rubbing everything together well using your hand.
Spread dough evenly over a large, sprayed cookie sheet or other shallow baking pan. Evenly distribute the onion mixture over the dough, all the way to the edges. Sprinkle feta over the onion mixture.
Bake as directed in dough instructions, or until golden brown. Cool to room temperature. Using scissors, cut into desired size.
