Puchas (Pecan ) Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 4 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups Crisco
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Chopped Pecans

Instructions
 

  • Cream the sugar, Crisco, eggs and vanilla together.
  • Sift the dry ingredients together and add them a little at a time. Add chopped pecans.
  • Bake at 350 degrees 10 to 12 minutes.

Notes

This recipe makes a lot of cookies! They remind me of the Pecan Sandies you buy at the store, only better.
