Bake biscuits according to package directions. (We have a convection oven, which reduces the temp by 25 degrees. So I set for convction at 400, and bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Perfect!)
Cook sausage in large skillet over medium heat 5-6 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring frequently.
Stir in flour and mix well.
Gradually add milk; cook until mixture comes to a boil and thickens, stirring constantly.
Add seasonings as desired.
Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Ladle generously over split biscuit halves and serve!
