  • 2 cans of black beans drained and washed
  • 1 can sweet corn
  • 1/2 purple onion chopped
  • 2 ripe avocados chopped
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 limes sliced in half, squeezed into the dip!
  • Tortilla chips


  • Combine all ingredients and enjoy with tortilla chips!

Originally shared on our family learning blog in August 2009, as part of Sarah’s “International Cooking Show” project. This was perhaps the first cooking video I entirely recorded and published using an iPhone (the iPhone 3GS).
