Easy Beef Chili
Equipment
- Large cooking pot
Ingredients
- 2 lbs coarsely ground chile beef (can substitute regular ground beef)
- 2 cans Bush's chili beans
- 1 can Bush's pinto beans
- 1 can Hunts Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes
- grated cheddar cheese (best if grated from a solid block, rather than pre-shredded)
- 1 package Williams Original Chili Seasoning
- sour cream
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 bag fritos
- Tony's creole seasoning
- Seminole Swamp Seasoning – Fire in the Swamp
Instructions
- Brown the meat, adding half the chopped onions after a few minutes so they will saute
- Reduce heat to simmer, add Williams chili seasoning and mix
- Open and drain juice from pinto beans, add to pot
- Open and add both cans of chili beans, with juice to the pot
- Simmer on the stove at least 30 minutes
- Serve with grated cheese, sour cream, and fritos
Notes
Sometimes we like to make more of a ‘stacked supper’ and also include cooked rice as an option to layer between fritos (at the bottom of your bowl) and the chili.
